To do this, right mouse click on the wallpaper of the Start screen and click ‘Customize’ in the bottom right hand corner in the context bar that slides up. One way to keep your Start screen organized is to name a group of icons. If your favorite app does not appear on the Start screen, click or tap the down arrow on the Start screen to pull up ‘All Apps’ and then right mouse click (or tap and hold) to bring up the context menu on the app you want to add to the Start screen and then select ‘Pin to Start’. By pulling up the context menu in the Start screen (right mouse click or long press on a tablet on an icon or swipe up from the bottom) the context bar will appear that allows you to adjust several settings for each live tile including unpinning from the Start screen, uninstalling the application, resizing the tile and turning off the live tile stream.
